Career Development Program

In 2024 we were able to get our new Career Development Program off the ground.

In collaboration with the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin, Sauk County, and Madison Colleges, seven individuals worked hard to graduate from Construction Essentials or Invitation to Manufacturing class. They chose to take more classes or interviews with area employers on their way toward an apprenticeship in the skilled trades.

We are excited to help more low-income folks gain stability with good-paying careers and to supply area businesses with a much-needed workforce..

Program Mission

To provide services, independently or in collaboration with other groups, designed to foster independence and then transition the individuals into a permanent career and society.

Program Vision

PHP Career Development is a transitional program to help the poor, the distressed, and the underprivileged by providing assistance, training, and guidance which helps them to help themselves become productive members of society, therefore raising their self-esteem.

NFL Hall of Fame LeRoy Butler stopped to visit the Career Development Program. His is a true story of fortitude, grit, endurance, faith, truth, and just plain hard work. Thank you, Leroy, for coming to visit and inspire us.
